A downloadable game

Battle tight turning circles, the 1920x1080 wide ocean and the large variety (4) of ships. Fight to make your mark as an iceberg. (Or if on an older mobile device, fight the lag to fight to make your mark). 

The world's (most probably) first iceberg simulator lets you experience the freedom of being a large, somehow mobile, block of ice. 

Featuring an all original musical score, created in Rolling Tones by randomly mashing buttons. 

Level up, sink the unsinkable. 

Be the iceberg. 


This is an expansion of a game concept from a 2014 Ludum Dare.  It's being built with the paid version of Construct 2.  And is being hosted on Github, with Zenhub being used for project management.

It's also open source! Feel free to clone, steal, adjust or explore. 

The Ludum Dare version is playable at files.stuartkent.co.nz/beneath.

Goals

This game has a few neat goals behind it. 

  • Evolve a concept to a fully featured game
  • Explore different workflows and tools
  • Experience an open source project
  • Create a game that is responsive, and viewport agnostic. 

All apart from the first are progressing well! I've created this page mostly as somewhere to keep my dev log. But I also like food and money! Co-creators welcome, and ideas and suggestions would be great on github.
