I just did a pass enabling Construct's neat box shadows, and doing some shuffling around for the event sheets so I can start scripting some levels or something.
Initially I had this crazy particle system with circles being distorted by construct's wave effect, but it was slow as heck, so this is just a single distortion. Not super happy with it, but definitely better than the previous.
I've decided to go for a night time effect, so expect clouds and other nice night-type reflections, that hopefully will give a good sense of space and be a bit more interesting than the cyan it was before.
